Mid-morning Feb. 21 a semi truck owned by a Lynnville resident overturned on Bear Creek Road causing substantial damage to the truck and roadway. Near Bear Creek Road’s intersection with Damastus Road, truck owner Jonathan Jones was driving northbound when the wreck occurred. The 8th Annual Forrest Alumni Association Trivia night raised approximately $1,500 to support scholarships for Forrest seniors. The first trivia night was a contest between five teams. This year’s event hosted 22 teams and was held in the new Forrest School Auxiliary Gymnasium.
