Local NAACP Chapter holds 2017 Gospel Extravaganza
The Marshall County Branch of the NAACP held their Annual Gospel Extravaganza on Sunday, Jan. 15 at Marshall County High School. The groups performing were the Blessing & Joy Praise Team, pictured above, from Wayman Chapel in Columbia; H20 Inner City Church of Christ, Huntsville, Ala.; Greater First Baptist Youth Choir; Joe Mayes; Second Avenue Singers, all from Lewisburg; and Under The Influence from Lewisburg and Columbia Tenn. The Marshall County Branch would like to thank all those who bought tickets, attended the event, sang songs, or gave a donation, with special thanks to Marshall County High School for the use of their auditorium, and Kerry Brown for making it accessible.
