Sierra Waggoner, a 2015 Forrest graduate, recently graduated from Freed Hardeman University in Henderson with a Communications degree.

Waggoner was a Forrest Lady Rocket basketball and soccer player, and was a big football enthusiast.

After playing college soccer for two years, she decided to hang up her cleats and solely pursue her dream of a future career.

Waggoner's dream came true when it was announced that she landed a TV host position at Northeast Arkansas Fox and CBS.

“I am so excited to be pursuing this dream, it does not feel real when I drive up to the news station every day," Waggoner said. "My parents, classmates, small town of Chapel Hill, but mostly God are to thank for this exciting opportunity."

I always tell people with pride that I am from Chapel Hill, Tennessee. Do not quit your daydream, work really hard and and pray even harder.”

At the news station, Waggoner will be a TV Host for her own show called This is Home- Today. Waggoner also gets to work as a media consultant between stories.
