Just 55 miles south of the capitol of Tennessee, Lynnville is a quaint very, very small town that puts on its "Sunday Best" celebration for the Christmas Season.

The Christmas Holidays in a small town may be at a slower pace, but at least one will not miss the true meaning and feeling of Christmas. People in small towns usually know their neighbors and other people in business around town. A close community can build a strong support system.

Each winter several people decorate the town with lights and holiday greenery and red bows for the best time of the year. Every weekend from the first Saturday in December to the last, the town gathers for a number of holiday themed activities as well as good food.

Once again people gathered for the Christmas Village, Christmas Lunch, Christmas Parade, Christmas Piano Recital, Christmas shopping, Toys from Santa Claus, and the different Christmas Programs in the churches.

Homes on every street in the Lynnville City Limits and outside the city limits are all decked out with decorations of greenery, lights, and bows. Some of the homes really have light displays.
