Every year children of all ages write letters to Santa Claus and send them in the mail to the North Pole.

Luckily the Lewisburg Post Office has one of Santa's elves working especially hard to make sure all of the local boys' and girls' letters get to Santa safely and the senders receive their very own letter from Mrs. Claus in return.

The mail carriers work very hard to make sure all of the letters have a return address so Mrs. Claus's letters make it to each child.

Mrs. Claus makes sure each letter is written in keeping with the Christmas spirit. Each letter is decorated with Christmas stickers, written in red ink, and topped with a special piece of candy.

This year's special elf is DeVonna Webb. This is her second year with the honor. "It is so much fun (being Santa's elf)!" said Webb. According to Webb, Santa and Mrs. Claus said the requests from the children on their Christmas lists were all very sweet. Children even made sure to ask for things for their parents and siblings.

It's not too late to send a letter to Santa; just remember to put a return address so Mrs. Claus can send a reply back to you.
