The Marshall County Soil Conservation District held its annual poster contest for kindergarten through twelfth grade. This contest provides students an opportunity to convey their thoughts about soil, water and related natural resource issues through art. It also highlights the educational outreach efforts of conservation districts and their state conservation associations, auxiliaries and agencies. The Stewardship theme for this year was "We All Need Trees". Each winner received a certificate and a check for $25.00 from the District, and their posters will be entered in the Tennessee Association of Conservation Districts Poster Contest.
