Police request help in solving burglaries

Lewisburg Police officers are asking citizens for assistance in solving seven burglaries reported in August. Some would appear to be connected because of when they happened. Police request help in solving burglaries

Lewisburg Police officers are asking citizens for assistance in solving five burglaries reported in August. Some would appear to be connected because of when they happened.

Among the crimes currently being investigated are:

* A burglary of Moon Products located at 1150 5th Avenue North between Aug. 3-5. During the burglary several vending machines were vandalized in the break room.

* A burglary of a residence located at 432 Haynes Street on Aug. 13. Taken during the burglary were three 15" televisions, several pairs of men's and women's athletic shoes, a Wii game console, and several pieces of jewelry.

* A burglary of a residence located at 482 4th Ave. on Aug. 22.

* A burglary of a residence located at 1726 Buena Vista Avenue on Aug. 22. Taken during the burglary were X-Box and Wii game consoles, an Apple Ipad, and several pieces of jewelry.

* A burglary of a residence located at 670 Douglas Avenue on Aug. 22. Taken during the burglary was a glass jar of change, and prescription medication.
