The pair had been stopped by Lewisburg Police and an officer approaching their vehicle on the passenger side reported that he saw Ashby pass something to Sweesey who, unaware of his presence, threw it from the passenger window, almost hitting the officer in the face with it.
The item was discovered to be marijuana, and after the pair consented to a search of their dwelling, more marijuana was discovered along with drug paraphenalia.
Sweesey was charged with simple possession and possession of paraphenalia, while Ashby was charged with simple possession. Both were held on $1,000 bonds.
* Before midnight on Christmas Day, officers at the Lewisburg Police station on Second Avenue heard a person scream.
Trying to locate the source, officers found Robert Williams shirtless on the square.
Speaking with Williams, officers noted that he seemed irritable, was slurring his words, and was unsteady on his feet.
The police report states that Williams was asked if he was on narcotics to which he replied "no only alcohol."
When officers asked him to put his hands behind his back, Williams reportedly pulled away and was uncooperative.
He was charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest and held on $1,500 bond.
On November 30, Williams was also charged with public intoxication after appearing unsteady while walking and appearing unable to understand any statements made by the officer who had stopped him.
