Lewisburg Police Chief Chuck Forbis was still in the intensive care unit of Vanderbilt University Medical Center on Monday following a Saturday morning accident at the intersection of East Commerce Street and the Ellington bypass.
Forbis suffered spinal injuries after his car was rear-ended by another vehicle during foggy weather.
"The only thing I remember was looking in my rear-view mirror and seeing headlights coming," Forbis told the Tribune on Monday.
