* Lewisburg Police served a warrant for failure to appear to Brittany Heithcock on December 12. Heithcock did not appear at her Lewisburg City Court date in response to charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, public intoxication, and indecent exposure stemming from an incident this summer where, reportedly claiming that she was on fire, she stripped off her clothes while running through the parking lot behind the Marshall County Courthouse Annex building. Bond was set at $3,000.
* In the early morning hours of November 30, officers responded to a call from a person who said he was being chased by armed men. At the intersection of Yell Road and Cheek Road, they encountered Tyler Lewis Faulk who told them that he and a friend had come to Lewisburg to sell a handgun, but that he had become paranoid after smoking some methamphetamine. He believed that the people he was with were trying to kill him in order to take his money and his four-wheelers, but that he had escaped from them. His license was found to be suspended for previous DUI arrests and his car tag was registered to another vehicle. Faulk was charged with DUI 3rd offense, possession of a weapon under the influence, simple possession, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and improper display of a tag. He was held on a $7,000 bond.
* After a transfer to the Marshall County Jail for a court date on December 6, Austin Lee Woods was served with four outstanding warrants. One was for a failure to appear at a March hearing for driving on a suspended license and open container violations that he was now in town to face. The others resulted from an investigation of a two-car accident by the Tennessee Highway Patrol in which Woods was involved. He was driving on a suspended license, the truck he was driving had been reported stolen out of Columbia, and the temporary tag on the vehicle belonged to another car from two years ago. Charged with theft over $10,000, failure to appear, altering vehicle plates, and driving while revoked, additional bond was set at $33,500.
* A Lewisburg Police officer pulled over Danielle Perdue on December 12 after she reportedly pulled out in front of the officer, almost causing an accident. Perdue did not have a drivers license and there was an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, on which police K9 Iwan also alerted. A search did not reveal any drugs, but did find $133.32 of merchandise in the inside lining of a bag belonging to Purdue, which she admitted having shoplifted from Wal-Mart. She was charged with shoplifting, driving on a suspended license, failure to yield, no insurance, and driving an unregistered vehicle. Bond was set at $1,000.
