New police chief sworn in
'I look forward to serving the community and working with the agency, the city and along with the community,' Chuck Forbis, Lewisburg's new police chief, said after being sworn in Tuesday by Judge Roger Brandon. 'I'm very impressed with everyone I've met in the community and in the city, I think it will be an easy transition for me.' In the absence of Mayor Bob Phillips, Lina Horner, chairwoman of the Police Advisory Board, made the opening remarks, saying, 'We are very pleased with the results of our search.'
