Mutual aid appreciated
Shelbyville Fire Department Assistant Chief Terry Vinson visited Lewisburg City Hall on Wednesday to present Lewisburg Fire Chief Larry Williams with a plaque of appreciation for the assistance that LFD provided to Shelbyville during the White Lives Matter rally in that city during October. LFD sent equipment and several personnel to support SFD during the potentially incendiary demonstration. Vinson told Williams that the help from Lewisburg was vital to the successful response to the situation and that Lewisburg could always call on SFD if they were needed.
