The name of a man whose body was found on July 29 has been released by Lewisburg Police Detective Sgt. David Henley.
The man has been identified as Kevin Griffin, 26, of 490 Hill Street, where his body was discovered.
Detectives have determined the manner of Griffin's death was homicide, but details of the circumstances, weapon used, and so forth, have not been released, pending further investigation.
The house at 490 Hill Street is a Lewisburg Housing Authority property, near the corner of Bark Street. Tuesday, LHA Director Ronald Robinson confirmed the property had not been released to the LHA, but remained under study by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
