First Commerce Bank has extended its mortgage loan services to its branch in Chapel Hill. Shelley Staggs has been promoted from mortgage loan processor to mortgage loan originator and will head up the Chapel Hill mortgage services. Staggs has an associate's degree in business management and has nine years of experience in the mortgage loan field. She joined First Commerce Mortgage (a division of First Commerce Bank) in September 2004. Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager David Delk said, 'I am delighted to have Shelley as part of our team here in the Chapel Hill community. She will be a great asset, and this is a great way for First Commerce Bank to extend their existing services throughout the county.'
