MLK Day parade marches in Lewisburg

A sizable group took advantage of warm weather to march in Monday's Unity in the Community march in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In front of the county courthouse, local NAACP President Gary Davis spoke, along with the county and city mayors and other elected officials, on the legacy of the civil rights movement and the challenges of the present and future. "The moment of crisis is the moment of opportunity," said Davis.
