LEWISBURG, Tenn. — Marshall Medical Center (MMC) recently awarded college scholarships to three local high school graduates who plan to pursue careers in health care, according to CEO Phyllis Brown.

Sarah Kate Blackburn, Courtney Edde and Raigan Woods were the recipients of the 2018 Medical Career Scholarship awarded by MMC. Blackburn is a graduate of Cornersville High School, while Edde and Woods graduated from Marshall County High School. Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 are presented each year by MMC to students pursuing careers in health care.

“Marshall Medical Center is pleased to assist these three students in preparing for their future careers in health care,” said MMC CEO Phyllis Brown. “We are proud to continue our support of the Partners in Education program through the local school system.”

MMC has awarded scholarships to area high school students since 1996 through the Partners in Education program.
