Kathy Smith and Annette Fenech have had a fairly busy year. The two compete in the Tennessee Senior Olympic Games in the power walk.
The duo competed in the National Senior Games back in May. While the two had previously competed in the same group, the divisions are now age-based, which separated the two in terms of competition.
Smith cracked the top-10 in her division and finished in ninth place overall and Annette finished second overall.
In June, the two were back in action in the Tennessee Senior Olympics and both took home gold medals in their respective age groups.
In Fenech’s gold medal walk, she set a new Tennessee state record in 10:07.120.
Smith also competed in several swimming events and took home gold in the 50-meter breaststroke and 50-meter freestyle.
