Carter Silverthorn had quite the weekend, both in the field and on the court. A sixth-grader at Delk Henson, Silverthorn plays both travel baseball and basketball.
On Sunday, he hit a grand slam in the Perfect Game Championship Tournament and after his team won their championship game, traveled to Franklin to play in two basketball games, where he hit a buzzer-beater three-pointer to win the championship with the Tennessee Marathon.
