Among the vegetable offerings are beefmaster and supersweet tomatoes; Rutgers and big boy; red cherry and cherry; Roma and early girl tomatoes. Green peppers, jalapenos, and basil will also be available.
Hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. There will be at least one Saturday morning when the greenhouse will be open. Look for information on that date at a later time. All profits go back into the LMS Greenhouse fund. Students from the Special Education Department and an eighth grade GAP class work in the greenhouse daily planting and transplanting items, watering the plants, and helping carry selections to your car.
Prices are extremely low and the plants are especially nice this year. The poinsettias sold out quickly this fall, and they expect their spring plants to sell rapidly also, so head out early for the best selection. Don't be left out.
