Harrington Interactive Media and HIM Publications proudly announce the release of Lewisburg author, Carolana Callaway’s, new book “Sing Me to Heaven.”
This book describes her journey of surviving life’s traumas through singing and songwriting. Carolana Callaway began writing her book as a personal survival guide, but it grew into a powerful and spiritual memoir that will help readers begin to listen to the inner purpose God provides each and every one of us.
From years of childhood abuse after losing her parents, to living in and being exiled from Venezuela, to suffering from Malignant Multiple Sclerosis, Carolana not only survives difficult life traumas but also thrives by tapping into her musical soul. Music permeates every story that makes up her life, even the stories passed down to her by her ancestors.
Her journey shows how there is meaning in every thing that happens once you start truly listening to your God-given inner voice. Readers feeling the burdens of life will find a reprieve into joyful living and lasting hope in Carolana’s memoir, “Sing Me to Heaven.”
“Carolana writes from a heart that’s full of rich life experiences, and so much of her story has been overcoming unimaginable adversity. Like all real-life heroes, she has a quiet, inner strength that’s carried her, and the stories in this book will inspire others to find their own strength for the journey,”
says Mark Cawley, author of “Song Journey”, hit songwriter, and songwriting coach.
“We are delighted to release this book for Carolana. She’s got an engaging story, one we hope will both thrill you and encourage you,”
states her publisher, Harrington Interactive Media.
Carolana Callaway is a former United Nations diplomat who holds a PhD in International Human Rights Law. In 2007, she was diagnosed with Marburg’s Multiple Sclerosis (or Malignant MS). She retired from the UN and now lives and writes at her home here in Lewisburg, Tennessee.
The Lewisburg launch book signing will be held on August 11 from 2 until 5 p.m., at the old post office building—now renamed Gone Postal Marketplace—located at 121 1st Ave. South in downtown Lewisburg. Owner Peggy Gaines will be offering light refreshments with hourly door prizes. Carolana Callaway’s book will be available for purchase at the signing, and a door prize ticket will be enclosed with each book purchased.
“I have insisted that the launch signing be held exclusively here in Lewisburg,” says Carolana Callaway, “Because this is my home!”
