A 16-year-old entered a guilty plea on Monday in Marshall County Juvenile Court on charges connected to a fire at the Lewisburg Walmart.
The Maury County resident was charged with one count of arson and two counts of reckless endangerment in the Jan. 20 fire in the outdoor garden center area of the store.
The outdoor cushions and rugs created a smoky fire that made for dramatic images but was quickly extinguished by the Lewisburg Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and the store was able to reopen quickly.
According to the Lewisburg Police Department, the suspect was identified with public assistance through social media posts of security camera stills from the store.
An arrest was made with two day of the incident.
