All 7th grade students in Marshall County must have an updated immunization record sent to their school by Aug. 30. Your child’s physician will know if their immunizations are up to date, or if the required 7th grade shot needs to be given. The immunization record must be on the official State of Tennessee form. Any students who are lacking updated immunization records will not be allowed to return to class on Sept. 3 until this is completed. They will need to provide a parent note for any absences to be excused. The Marshall County Health Department is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for immunizations as well.
