Last year's winners were Morgan Reese and Brandon Bush.
$5,000 was raised for this year's fund as 36 local golfers teed it up Sunday on a blustery, sometimes rainy afternoon at the picturesque Saddle Creek Golf Club.
The 6,283-yard tract played like a monster in the windy conditions, but it did not deter the winning four-man scramble team of Scott Delk, Brian Scott, Buddy Wiles and Donnie Griffis from shooting an impressive 14-under par.
Coming home in second place in the Championship Flight at -11 was the foursome of John Cook, Josh Cook, Byron Cook and Jay Blackwell.
In the First Flight, there was a tie at -6, but the team of Brandon Hollingsworth, Morgan Wilson, Nick McClardy and Chris Derrigo were awarded the top spot on a match of cards.
Coming to the clubhouse in second place was the team of Mike Tatum, Kevin Tatum, Neal Tatum and Anthony Puca.
Closest to the pin honors went to Mike Tatum (#5), Matt Harris (#7), Matthew Tidwell (#13) and Brad Medley (#17).
Blackwell and Puca were the only two golfers to make the 40-ft. putt in the putting contest with Blackwell defeating Puca in a playoff for the award.
