Arrested and charged with driving under the influence

* Barbara M. Morse, 41, Shelbyville. Bond: $2,000; court date: Dec. 9. This is allegedly Morse's second DUI.

* George A. Parson, 41, Columbia. Bond: $10,000; court date: Oct. 15. Also charged with driving on a revoked license. This is allegedly the ninth time Parson has been charged with driving on a revoked license.

* Pedro Campos Moto Villareal, 32, Limestone Avenue. Held without bond for court on Sept. 16. Villareal was charged with domestic assault on Aug. 30, but was found in his victim's home on Sept. 2.

Thefts and vandalism reported

* Between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 2, someone broke into the garage of a home on Highway 40 and took Craftsman hand tools, a tool bag, a 30-pound drum of Freon, and a pressure gauge. Total value of the missing items is $1,000.

* Sometime between 1 and 10 a.m. Sept. 1 five pit bull puppies were taken from the back yard of a home on 1st Avenue North. Total value of the puppies was estimated at $650.

* About noon Aug. 28 someone drove a 2008 GMC Denali and the 2000 ProCraft Bass boat that was hitched to it away from a home on John R. Hill Road. The truck and boat were returned about 4 p.m. the same day, but both had been damaged. Cost of repairing the damages is estimated at $600.

* A Chapel Hill man reported to Marshall County Sheriff's Department someone bought three Apple iPhones on his Verizon Wireless account without his knowledge. The phones were all given Ohio telephone numbers. The victim estimated his total financial loss was $600.

* Between 6:45 a.m. and 4:10 p.m. Aug. 29, someone entered a home on Franklin Pike through the back door and took a black Acer laptop, worth $389.

* On Aug. 31, two men got change for two $100 bills at Westside Liquor Store, but the bills turned out to be counterfeit, with both having the same serial number. The store owner provided names and surveillance-camera pictures of the pair to Lewisburg Police Officer Charles Brannan.

* Between 5 a.m. Aug. 22 and the morning of Sept. 1, a mid-size chainsaw in a black case was taken from the porch of a home on Meadow Street. Owner estimated the value of the saw at $125, but could not remember the color or the brand.

* On Aug. 25, someone took a 20-inch boy's bike from a home on Silver Creek Road. The bicycle was valued at $125.

* Between 8 a.m. Aug. 31 and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 1, $120 cash went missing from a handicapped man's wallet. Other than the victim, the only other person who had access to the wallet was the victim's home health nurse.

* Sometime between 8 a.m. Aug. 22 and 7 p.m. Aug. 24, two 25-pound weights and a weight bar were taken from the back porch of a home on 5th Avenue North. The weights and bar will cost an estimated $75 to replace.

* A window screen and the back door of a vacant rental property on Buena Vista Avenue were found damaged on Aug. 29, but it did not appear anyone had entered the house. The screen will cost an estimated $50 to replace.

* Between 5 p.m. Aug. 23 and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 26, someone removed a window screen at the Marshall County High School Field House, and also broke the hinge lock of the Dutch barn under the bleachers. Nothing appeared to be missing or damaged. The lock will cost $20 to replace.

* During the overnight hours between Aug. 28 and 29, the driver's side tires of a man's car were cut while the vehicle was parked outside his house in Cornersville.
