Columbia State recognizes students at 51st annual student honors convocation
(First row, pictured, left to right): Alexandra Donnelly (Columbia) was recognized for her efforts as a peer leader and as the Student Government Association vice president; Meagan Walsh (Lewisburg) was recognized for Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, and for her efforts as Phi Theta Kappa Electronic Communication secretary; Matthew Poarch (Petersburg) received the Leadership Award for Columbia State’s Lewisburg Campus; and Kiyoko Puca (Lewisburg) was recognized for Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. (Second row, left to right): Leah Eguia (Belfast) was recognized for Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities; Anthony Cordova (Lewisburg) was recognized for Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, and received the Academic Discipline Award for American History; Zachary Smith (Lewisburg) was recognized for Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities; TiAnna Cotton (Chapel Hill) received an Academic Excellence Award for maintaining a 3.9-4.0 GPA and an Academic Discipline Award for Music.
