Orvil Nichols lives in Marshall County, but he drives a school bus for Bedford County. Orvil drives bus 01 taking students to Unionville Community Elementary and to the high school. On Monday morning, a high school student handed him a certificate for “Best Bus Driver Ever.” Orvil says he might not be the best, but his motive is safety: getting students to school and back home safely. I always say ‘Good Morning’ as they get on the bus, and I try to let them know their bus driver loves them.
