The Altruist Club of Lewisburg/Marshall County recently awarded financial stipends to three Marshall County High School graduates. In the photo Altruist Club members Billy Hill (far left) and Don Johnson (far right) present checks to: Malik Thomison (son of Rodney and Clyesha Thomison), Makayla Johnson (daughter of April Haley and Marvin Johnson) and Mitchell Ford (son of Dawn Ford). Malik plans to attend Tennessee Tech this fall majoring in Engineering. Makayla will be attending Chattanooga State then transfer to UT Chattanooga majoring in Exercise Science. Mitchell will be attending UT Martin majoring in Mechatronics Engineering. The Altruist Club has been making these type of presentations to deserving Marshall County graduates for over 40 years.
