"I don't know what to say about that, that was ridiculous and it was definitely our best shooting performance this year, by far," said Tyler "Juice" Rumley after the game. Still perfect. The Lewisburg Middle School Tigers claimed their third straight TMSAA Area 2 Class AA tournament title by defeating the E.O. Coffman Panthers 41-28 on Saturday afternoon in Hohenwald to run their record to 16-0. LMS had defeated the Panthers by double digits twice during the regular season, but E.O. Coffman hung tough for much of Saturday's contest and trailed just 20-18 at halftime before seizing a 26-22 lead late in the third quarter. Hindered by the loss of guard Garrett Martin in the final minute of the third quarter due to a broken wrist, the Panthers (15-6) were unable to hold off Lewisburg down the stretch, as the Tigers outscored E.O. Coffman 19-2 the rest of the way to take home the 13-point win. more
After leading Cornersville High School's football team the last nine years, Ray Stocstill recently decided to hand over the reins of the program to someone else and resigned as the Bulldogs' football coach. Stocstill sighted the desire to watch his son Joe Stocstill play football at the University of Tennessee as the main reason for stepping down, but will still be a part of the school's athletic program by coaching the Cornersville Middle School team this coming Fall. Joe Stocstill is currently a freshman walk-on at UT, but still has four years of eligibility left after redshirting this past season. more

It's a nice honor, but I still have to keep working because I have a new standard to live up to." During the 2012 season, Medley helped the Tigers consistently win the field position battle by averaging an impressive 45 yards per punt on 44 kicks with a long of 61 yards.
