(AP) -- A Tennessee company that operates buses for charter schools in Nashville says it plans to add seatbelts to its entire fleet in response to a fatal bus crash in Chattanooga that left six children dead. The Governor's Table Restaurant at Henry Horton State Park will temporarily close for renovations beginning Dec. 18. A tentative reopening is scheduled for mid-late April. Marshall County High School alumni Eric Johnson and numerous of his fellow classmates and teachers took to the Lewisburg Walmart to give back to the community by doing random acts of kindness. The campaign, simply called Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) started last year raising around $1,000. This year, around $5,000 was raised for the campaign, giving high hopes of doubling in size every year...

There was a large police presence at Wal-Mart on Saturday morning, but there wasn't any emergency. Lewisburg Police Department was taking their opportunity to serve the community instead of protecting it. The event was the annual Cops For Kids day on which the department takes children in need to Wal-Mart to shop for Christmas...
