Two local youth wrestlers recently took home state wrestling championships.
Walter Pigg took home gold in the Tot Heavyweight division and Rhyder Pratt won in the Bantam Heavyweight division.
The two wrestlers compete with Maximum Velocity Youth Program and competed in the TNAAU state wrestling championships in the first year of folkstyle wrestling.
Maximum Velocity is a local youth sports program that offers wrestling, soccer, basketball, football and cheerleading.
