Spring Hill stands in way again for Lady Rockets
For the past two seasons, two teams have dominated District 11A/AA women’s soccer â€" Forrest and Spring Hill. On Thursday, they will have squared off in another championship game.
The Lady Rockets earned their second consecutive berth in the district title game with a 6-2 shellacking of a Cascade team they had lost to 1-0 on Oct. 2 in Wartrace.
Sophomore striker Anna Wiser scored four goals for Forrest and goaltender Kensie McKee made 19 saves in the game behind the staunch Lady Rocket defense.
In the first game, Spring Hill remained undefeated in district play this year as they dominated Page in a 4-0 victory to set up another battle in the ongoing war between the two schools.
