William "Bill" Eells, 69, of Lewisburg, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at Maury Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was a native of Lawrence County, retired from Marshall Manufacturing, and of the Baptist faith. Mr. and Mrs. Eells were married on Aug. 4, 1964, and on Dec. 9, 1988.
Mr. Eells is survived by his wife, Edith Pruitt Eells of Lewisburg; two daughters, Becky (Kenny) Cruse of Ardmore, Tenn. and Tracy McClure of Elkmont, Ala.; two half brothers, John (Sherry) Hoskins of Lawrenceburg and David (Pam) Benefield of Ethridge; two half sisters, Sue Hooker of Lawrenceburg and Wilma Carnesi of Brownsville, Texas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 5, at Loretto Memorial Chapel, with Paul Lucas officiating, followed by burial in Restview Cemetery.
Loretto Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
