Virginia "Evelyn" Clark, 93, of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, in NHC Healthcare-Lewisburg.
A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late William Alex Sanders and Grace Taylor Sanders. She was retired from Lewisburg Electric as an accountant, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James Lawrence Clark, who passed away in 1994, and a son, Loyd Allen Clark.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin (Wendi) Clark of Lewisburg and Lee (Iliana) Clark of Murfreesboro. Five grandsons; five granddaughters; a sister, Adelaide Bigham of Lewisburg; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Clark were held Saturday, Oct. 12, from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Burial followed in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg.
