Vernell Wentzel Beever Marshall, 88, of Lewisburg, TN, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN.
She was a native of Hickman County, the daughter of the late Wilford and Marie Ade Wentzel. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Beever, Jr.; second husband, Gordon Marshall; two brothers, Wilford and Kenneth Wentzel, three sisters, Evelyn Fuller, Mabel Banks, and Margaret Henderson.
She is survived by sisters, Marie Jones of Cornersville and Grace Pinkerton of Centerville; brother, Arthur Wentzel of Cornersville; special niece, Terri Burgess; special nephew, Harold Ray Beever, Sr., along with several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. and will continue until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
