Tiger duo compete in World Series
Marshall County Tiger baseball players Chandler Harmon and Brooks Leftwich competed for the Middle Tennessee Outlaws in the Sandlot World Series 18 & U tournament in Nashville on July 16-20. On Thursday, Leftwich pitched seven innings against the Louisville Elite, giving up three hits and one walk, with seven strikeouts, before leaving the game with the score tied 1-1. However in the eighth inning, the Elite added three runs to win the game 4-1. Tribune photo by Louis G. Scheuchenzuber
