Thomas Anthony "Tony" Blackwell, 52, of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, at his residence after an extended illness.
Mr. Blackwell was born in Marshall County, was a self-employed roofer, and was the son of the late John T. Blackwell and Kitty Umbles Blackwell of Belfast, who survives.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jason Linley.
He is also survived by his wife, Marla Dawn Holland Blackwell; one daughter, Danielle (Josh) Dodson; three sons, Robbie (Dana) Blackwell, Anthony Blackwell, and Brandon Holland; one stepdaughter, Amanda Osborne; four brothers, Richie, Chris, Kenny, and Linton Blackwell; one sister, Sheila Linley; and eight grandchildren, all of Lewisburg.
Funeral services for Mr. Blackwell will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Linda Price officiating.
Burial will follow in Short Cemetery in the Spring Place Community.
