Thelma Arlean Griggs, 87, of Lewisburg, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, in Marshall Medical Center.
Mrs. Griggs was a native of Marshall County, and daughter of the late William Thomas and Martha Kirkpatrick Golden. She was a homemaker and member of the Bluff Springs Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hudson Mack Griggs; two sisters, Mary Turpin and Mari Umphress; brother, William Thomas Golden; and granddaughter, Rhonda Michelle Griggs.
She is survived by two daughters, Arlene Miller of Columbia and Yvonne Farr of Lewisburg; two sons, Jimmy Griggs of Lewisburg and Ronnie Griggs of Pulaski; sister, Ethel Baxter of Lewisburg; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 2, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
London Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
