Sue Ann Blankenship, 68 of Lewisburg, TN passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 4, 2018. After growing up on a farm in Giles County in her younger years, Sue worked for the ICP Corporation and was a caregiver for several years later in her life. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, and helping others.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Clara Helmintoller Thomas; her husband of sixteen years, Charles Blankenship; a step-son, Brent Blankenship; a son, Timmy Simmons; a daughter, Glenda Carnell; and two sisters, Tish Stevenson and Linda Woodard. She is survived by a brother Kirk Thomas, Cornersville, TN; two sisters, Kathy (David) Fralix, Ordie Thomas both of Lewisburg, TN; two grandchildren, Brandon Woodall, Dylan Carnell; and a great-grandson, Lucas Carnell.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the same location at 1 p.m. with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
