Ruth Reese Floyd, 94, of Lewisburg, passed away on Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, in NHC Healthcare-Oakwood.
Mrs. Floyd was a native of Westminster, Md. and the daughter of the late John W. and Julie Caples Reese. She was retired from banking and she was a member of East Commerce Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Floyd, and a son, Thomas Floyd.
She is survived by one daughter, Corlett Evans, and several great-nephews and nieces.
Graveside services for Mrs. Floyd will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Allen Cemetery in the Caney Springs Community.
Visitation with family will be Wednesday before the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home & Crematory in Lewisburg.
