Russell Barlow Petty, 68, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, in Maury Regional Medical Center.

Russell was a native of Marshall County, TN, born Oct. 10, 1949, son of J.C. and Edith Barlow Petty. He was a member of the graduating class of 1967 at Marshall County High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University. He retired from maintenance at Ellington House Apartments and also as a real estate agent with Century 21. He was a member of Lewisburg First Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ken Petty. He is survived by his wife, Ann Bradford Petty of Lewisburg; daughter, Molly Anderson of Columbia; brother, Phil Petty of Nashville; three grandchildren, Abby, Jack, and Cole; several nieces and nephews; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home and burial followed in Lone Oak Cemetery.

The family was at London Funeral Home Saturday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
