Rudolph E. (Rudi) Mayer ***FLAG****
Rudolph E. (Rudi) Mayer, 93, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2022, in Columbus, GA. A native of Milwaukee, WI, an Air Force pilot and Colorado University graduate, Rudi moved his family to Lewisburg in 1960 and spent his manufacturing career with Heil Quaker and ICP, retiring after 32 years. For many years in Lewisburg, he was a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Lori; brother, Phil. He is survived by his sister, Cary (George) Pratt of Ocala, FL and sons, Dolph (Debra) of Mission, TX and Gus (Lisa) of Waynesville, NC and two grandsons.
