Roy Lee Barrett Sr., 54, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Barrett was born in Ft. Seal, Okla., and was a son of Barbara Chamblee Barrett and the late Cap Jefferson Barrett Jr. Mr. Barrett was a mason for the Carney Masonry.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wayne Barrett.
Mr. Barrett is survived by his wife, Krystal Barrett of Lewisburg; daughters, Jessie Foxx of Chapel Hill and Kara Faulk of Lewisburg; son, Roy Barrett Jr. of Harrisburg, Pa.; grandchildren, Patrick Hayden Lykins, Bailee Blaine Meeks, Kacen Pruett, Krystalynne Pruett, and Caleb Barrett; sister, Susan Reed of Carthage, Miss.; and mother, Barbara Chamblee Barrett of Greenwood, Miss.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
