Rockets roll on
Austin Welty (4), seen here sliding into third base with a triple Monday night at Vanderbilt, is the second baseman
for the Forrest Rockets, who finished off the regular season sweep over Eagleville, taking a 14-4 six-inning run-rule win over the Eagles on Tuesday.
The Rockets banged out 14 hits in the contest and Kennedy Mathis came away with the win on the hill for FHS, who will play Collinwood tonight at 5 p.m. in Chapel Hill, kicking off the 2nd Annual Border Battle.
