The Forrest Rockets have become the latest version of the 'cardiac kids', claiming their second consecutive seventh inning win with the latest heart-wrencher coming via a Landon Jones two-out game winning RBI Wednesday night for a 3-2 win over Community in the District 9-A Tournament Chapel Hill winner's bracket final.
Forrest (21-12) will take on MTCS (24-7-1) Thursday night in the tournament title game at 7:00 p.m. in Murfreesboro.
The two squads have split this season with Forrest winning 5-4 on April 8 before the Cougars came back the following night with a 9-5 win in Chapel Hill.

Runs begin
After three scoreless frames, both teams scored single runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
Tanner Garvin started the contest for the Rockets on the mound, leaving with two-on and one out in the fifth inning in a tie game.
Garvin gave up one earned run on three hits, while striking out two and walking zero.
Jacob Daughrity came on and was met by a sacrifice fly RBI by Quinn Frost, putting the Vikings up 2-1.
Daughrity would bean consecutive Community hitters to re-load the sacks, but escaped any further damage.
Tying it up
In the bottom of the inning, Forrest tied the game with Daughrity helping himself out with a sacrifice fly RBI.
Daughrity proceeded to shut down the the Vikings the remainder of the game, striking out four and walking one Community batter over the next two and two-third innings of work to earn the victory.
Daughrity and Community reliever Taylor Paschal tossed a scoreless sixth.
Full of Rockets
The Vikings could not produce a run off Daughrity in the top of the seventh and in the bottom of the inning, Zach Horvath reached on an error to start the winning rally.
Daughrity beat out a bunt and an intentional walk loaded the sacks full of Rockets, but a force play at home kept the game alive before Jones delivered the game-winner, sending the Rockets to the district title game and next week's Region 5-A Tournament.
The Rockets had nine hits in the contest with Horvath leading the way with a 3-4 night and a run scored.
Alex Brewer (2-3, RS) and Jones (2-4, 2RBIs) both had a pair of hits in the contest, while Daughrity (1-3, sac fly, RS, RBI, SB), Austin Harber (1-2, 2BB), and Ryan Yelensky (1-1) all had one base hit apiece for the Rockets.
