Robert Joseph "Dickie" Dickenson passed away peacefully just after sunrise on Nov. 17, 2014, in Nashville at the age of 65.
He was gregarious, generous, and well loved by those who knew him. He lived most of his life in Pass Christian, Miss., raising his family, cruising the Gulf waters, and operating his business, Pass Seafood.
His mother and father, Gertrude and William Dickenson of New Orleans, preceded him in death.
He leaves behind a brother, Bill Dickenson (his wife, Laurie, their children and grandchildren); two daughters, Barbara and Becky Dickenson; a grandson, Ashton Thomas; and many lifelong friends.
A small, private memorial service will be held on his birthday.
We will remember him each time we see the sunset over the ocean.
