Mr. Robert Hardin, age 78, Lewisburg, passed on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at NHC Healthcare.
He was the son of the late Marvin and Melinda Robinson Hardin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty McClain Hardin, and his son Robert T. Hardin.
He is survived by daughters: Valerie Miller (Keith), Phyllis Simpson (William), Bobby Mayes, and Sharon Hardin (Will); 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brother M.H. Hardin; sisters, Katherine Mayes, Nettie Harris and Jennie Mai Mayes; his in-laws include Eugene Campbell, Floetta Hardin, Addie Lee Hardin, and Alice McClain; his devoted niece Jacqueline Johnson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at 1 p.m., at Greater First Baptist Church with visitation one hour before the funeral. Burial will follow in Alsup Cemetery, Maury County.
