Reed Harris, 63, of the Hopkins Bridge Community of Bedford County, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2014.
Mr. Harris was born in Bedford County and was a son of the late Bryant Reed and Nannie Martha Haskins Harris. He was a truck driver and dairy farmer.
In addition to his parents, Reed was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Harris, and a brother, Jimmy Lee Harris.
Mr. Harris is survived by his sisters Betty Harris, Martha Ann Skinner, and Elaine Swann, all of the Hopkins Bridge Community; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Tedder officiating. Burial will follow in Clay Hill Cemetery.
