Paul Charles "Bud" Holly, 89, of Nashville, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Holly was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late Judge Robert Cecil and Erline Collins Holly. He was a graduate of Marshall County High School and was a retired supervisor with Genesco, Inc. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Paul Charles "Bud" Holly, 89, of Nashville, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at his residence.

Mr. Holly was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late Judge Robert Cecil and Erline Collins Holly. He was a graduate of Marshall County High School and was a retired supervisor with Genesco, Inc. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Hillsboro Church of Christ in Nashville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Wilson Holly, in 1997.

He is survived by his second wife, Alexandra Blech Holly of Nashville; son, Dennis Holly of Gallatin; daughter, Debby Bryan of Nashville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 18, in Lone Oak Cemetery.

London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
