LEWISBURG — It was a tough way to close the home slate during last week’s Senior Night matchup against Page.
Page let it rain from the perimeter and coasted off a 25-point second quarter en route to a 68-23 win over Marshall County, spoiling the Tigerettes’ Senior Night.
Page’s Braley Bushman got the fireworks started in the first quarter, notching nine of the Lady Patriots’ 14 first-quarter points.
Senior Kayla Keiler was the lone scorer for the Tigerettes, knocking down a basket and going 1-for-2 in the quarter from the free throw line.
While the Tigerettes were able to rally for 12 points in the second frame, with eight more coming courtesy of Keiler, the Lady Patriots spread 25 points among seven players and knocked down five treys in the period to take a 39-15 lead into the half.
The Lady Patriots continued to pour on the offense into the third period and out-scored the Tigerettes 29-8 in the final two quarters.
In total, Page saw 10 players find their way into the scoring column, with Bushman’s 20 points leading all scorers.
The Lady Patriots also connected on a staggering 12 three-pointers in the game as well.
Keiler was the lone Tigerette to reach double figures with 14.
