Mary E. Blackwell, 63, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at NHC-Oakwood.
Mrs. Blackwell was a native of Williamson County. She was a self-employed flea-marketer, and a member of the First Assembly of God of Lewisburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Newcomb and Rebecca Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Leslie Blackwell of Lewisburg; sons, Danny Blackwell of Franklin and Mike Blackwell of Lewisburg; brother, Tommy Newcomb of Lewisburg; uncle, Willie Brown of Franklin; five grandchildren; and many brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Aug. 8, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Don McCullough officiating, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
